The Waywayseecappo Wolverines are a Junior "A" Hockey team playing in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL). They first began playing on the MJHL level in 1999 - 2000. The MJHL is a stepping stone in many hockey players careers and has featured some IHL, AHL, WHL as well as some NHL Players.

The Wolverines play out of new 1500 seat arena. The Arena is located approximately twenty miles east of Russell MB two miles west of Rossburn MB It features a brand new dressing room ,complete with players lounge and amenities. Many of the players are settled in Waywayseecappo, Russell and Rossburn.

Because Waywayseecappo is such a young team - only two players are graduating and you can expect that many of the other eligible players will return to play in the upcoming season. With such a young team and being so new in the MJHL many of the people counted the Wolverines out as a non contender. But with their unrelenting determination, strong work ethic, and sheer skill they managed to succeed as a team. Even sending 2 Wolverine players to the All Star Game.
